EAA1114 offers something for every aviation interest in central North Carolina: homebuilding, vintage, warbirds, ultralights, fly-ins, fly-outs, workshops, aviation history and good old hangar flying.

*New* - THIS SATURDAY - Young Eagles rally Saturday April 27 at the Henderson-Oxford Airport KHNZ, go to https://youngeaglesday.com/, find our rally and preregister your child for a free airplane ride! If you want to join us as a volunteer to help put on the rally, sent a note to YoungEagles@eaa1114.org.

On March 5th Dr. Dan Johnson described the record-breaking flights (over 76,000 feet!) by the Perlan Project's High Altitude Glider. Jim Payne, Perlan Chief Pilot, joined the presentation.
Proposed Fly/Drive-out events for 2019 have been added to the Calendar page. Some dates are still being nailed down.
2019 event planning is shaping up. Many of the details have been shared at the Chapter meetings, on the Calendar page, and on the Young Eagles page. Now is the time for every Chapter member to find a place to help out so that we can make 2019 a great year! Thank you for your support!
