Welcome to EAA Chapter 1114!

Congratulations! You have arrived at one of the largest and most active Experimental Aircraft Association chapters in the southeastern USA.

EAA1114 offers something for every aviation interest in central North Carolina: homebuilding, vintage, warbirds, ultralights, fly-ins, fly-outs, workshops, aviation history and good old hangar flying.

*New* Congratulations to our new Chapter officers for 2019-2020 - Steete Scott, President; Mike McCann, Vice-president; Luke Ingerman, Treasurer. The Secretary slot is still open, please volunteer!

*New* Our winter luncheon is Jan 19th, at Cox Aerodrome, at high noon! Join us for a pot-lunch lunch where the Chapter provides a main dish and drinks, and you bring a dish to share. We'll review 2018 and recognize the folks who made our world turn, then look forward to 2019 by sharing event plans. This is your opportunity to influence the year and we need to hear your suggestions! Please RSVP for planning purposes by clicking here.

*New* 2019 event planning is under way. Chapter officers and coordinator volunteers met on January 5th to discuss plans for Chapter fly/drive-out events for the upcoming year. Details will be shared at the winter luncheon. Now is the time for every Chapter member to find a place to help out so that we can make 2019 a great year! Thank you for your support!

*New* 2018 Q4 and full-year treasurer's report is now available in the Members Only section.

Aviore

EAA National has launched Aviore! New Stan Lee-inspired superhero to take EAA Young Eagles into its next successful 25 years. Meet Aviore

♦ Have you dreamed of learning to fly but were never able to make it happen? We're looking into adopting the EAA Flying Start program to help you make this dream come true. We will connect you with an instructor and supportive team, and shepherd you through the entire process. If that sounds like something of interest, drop us a note and let us know!

If you missed the "homecoming" picnic, it was quite an event in spite of the rain. We collected photos from a number of folks here. Just click through the folders to see the photos.

Visit our Cafe Press site and get a new coffee mug or T-shirt!

Guests are always welcome. Come join us for one of our meetings. See our DIRECTIONS page to find us by plane or car. The CALENDAR page provides a list of upcoming chapter and area events. Have any questions? See CONTACT US.
